Aboboreira is a place and a former municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Mação . The community had 521 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the communities Aboboreira, Mação and Penhascoso were merged to form the new community União das Freguesias de Mação, Penhascoso e Aboboreira .
