Abra Fundición is a mountain pass on the Puna Plateau in northwest Argentina . The pass is located in the province of Salta at an altitude of 4720 m. To the east, the Ruta Provincial 145-S leads to Nazareno 1500 m below .
About 2 km southwest of the pass is the 5050 m high mountain Cerro Fundición .
