The Absam ski jumps in Absam consist of several ski jumping hills . The Bettelwurfschanze has four smaller jumps of the categories K 5, K 15, K 19 and K 40 and the FISU -schanze has a middle hill of the category K 63. Only the hills K 5 and K 15 are covered with plastic mattings.

history

The K-70 hill was built for the 1968 Winter Universiade . It was completed a year before the Universiade. Next to the K 70 the Bettelwurfschanze was built. In 1970 a children's hill was built for the younger generation. In 2000 the entire facility was rebuilt. Two years later a K-30 hill was added.

In 2006/07 the K-70 hill was extended to K 76. Since then it has been called FISU-Schanze. After the renovation, the hill did not receive a new FIS certificate ; there were problems with the landing profile, and so it had to be redesigned again in August 2008. Then she got her new FIS certificate.
