Ayyoub Faleh al-Rubaie (* 1977 or 1978 ), known as Abu Azrael ( Arabic أبو عزرائيل, DMG Abū ʿAzrāʾīl  , Father Azraels ') or Angel of Death , is a popular Iraqi commander of the Shiite Imam Ali brigades, which fight against the IS terrorist organization. He is a former militiaman of the Mahdi army of Muqtada as-Sadr and appears on social media as a sympathizer / testimonial for the recruitment of fighters.

A phrase that he regularly used and popularized is illā tahīn  /إلا طحين, meaning that only flour will be left of his IS opponents.
