Abu l-Walid al-Ghamidi ( Arabic أبو الوليد الغامدي, DMG Abū l-Walīd al-Ġāmidī orعبد العزيز بن عمر, DMG ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. ʿUmar ; Russian Абу аль-Валид аль-Гамиди Abu al-Walid al-Gamidi ; * 1967 in Saudi Arabia ; † April 16, 2004 in Chechnya ) was a Chechen general.

Born in Saudi Arabia, he acted as his successor and leader of the Islamist separatist movement against the Russian armed forces in Chechnya after the death of Ibn al-Khattab . He was seen as the financial linchpin between the Chechen rebels and donors from the Middle East.

In the summer of 1999, Abu I-Walid participated in the drafting of plans of attack for the Dagestan War and initiated the explosions in Moscow and Volgodonsk. The Russian General Prosecutor's Office declared him and Ibn Al-Khattab to be the main masterminds behind these acts of terrorism. In April he led the attack on the convoy of the 51st Airborne Regiment of the 106th Russian Airborne Division, in which 16 Russian soldiers were killed.
