The Abuls (German Abbul ) is a left-hand tributary of the Gauja in Latvia .

The river has its source on the Livonian ridge. It flows through Smiltene , Trikāta and finally Brenguļi, where a brewery is located on a dam. Access by boats is possible.

The largest tributaries are Dranda (13 km), Nigra (22 km), Mutulīte, Lisa, Nārvelis (10 km).
