The Acarospora Peak is a mountain peak 1.5 km northeast and slightly below the Mount Czegka at the southwestern end of the Watson Escarpment .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1960 and 1964. The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it at the suggestion of the Scott Glacier Team in the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition from 1969 to 1970 after the lichen Acarospora emergens , which was found at the peak.
