The ACREDIA Versicherung AG is the only Austrian credit insurance . The company is the market leader in Austria with a market share of 54 percent. In addition to the company headquarters in Vienna, there are other locations in Linz , Graz , Innsbruck and Belgrade .

history

In 1989 the company was founded under the name PRISMA Kreditversicherungs-AG. ACREDIA Versicherung AG was created in 2014 as part of the merger with OeKB Versicherung AG. In 2016, ACREDIA developed the first online credit insurance on the Austrian market.

Company affiliation and products

ACREDIA is owned by Oesterreichische Kontrollbank AG (51%) and Euler Hermes SA (49%). As part of the Euler Hermes Group, ACREDIA has access to comprehensive information on over 40 million companies worldwide.

The company secures receivables against the risk of payment default and steps in if a customer of the policyholder cannot pay. Other services such as debt collection and creditworthiness certificates complete the product portfolio .
