history

After the merger of Bayerische Hypotheken- und Wechselbank with Bayerische Vereinsbank in 1998, the newly created Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank had two fund companies: the shares in ADIG Allgemeine Deutsche Investment-Gesellschaft from Bayerische Vereinsbank and Hypo from Bayerische Hypo -Invest . The shares in ADIG, which was jointly held with Commerzbank , were therefore sold to Commerzbank in 1999, and Hypo-Invest became Activest . In order to bundle the investment companies within Unicredit , Activest was taken over in October 2006 by the investment company Pioneer Investments .
