Acumcum (alternative spelling Acongeong ) is a place in the state of Western Bahr el Ghazal (West-Bahr-al-Ghazal) in South Sudan, northeast of the city of Waw .

Acumcum is located in the Payam Marial Wau of the Wau district. During the war of civil secession in South Sudan, there was a UNICEF camp in Acumcum , where malnourished children were treated. Other organizations such as Doctors Without Borders and the United Nations World Food Program were also present in Acumcum ( see also : Operation Lifeline Sudan ).
