The Acura clinics ( spelling : ACURA clinics) are a network of several rehabilitation clinics , acute care centers, a medical care center and a nursing home . The locations of the facilities are spread across southwest Germany.
history
The Acura clinics go back to the Baden-Baden State Rheumatism Hospital founded in 1890. In the 1990s the hospital was privatized.
Acute clinics
The Acura rheumatism centers in Baden-Baden and Bad Kreuznach are among the acute care clinics of the association . The Acura Clinic for Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy is also located in Baden-Baden. The Acura Clinics Baden-Baden are an academic teaching hospital of the University of Heidelberg .
Rehab clinics
Another part of the network are the six rehabilitation clinics. These include: The Acura Sigel Clinic in Bad Schönborn, the Karl Aschoff Clinic in Bad Kreuznach, the Acura Ruland Clinics in Waldbronn, Bad Herrenalb, Dobel and Pfronten.
MVZ and care center
The medical care center of the Acura network is located in Baden-Baden. The Symbad care center with 31 care places is also located in Baden-Baden.
