ACWA Power is a Saudi power plant developer. The ACWA Holding belongs to 50% of the Al-Muhaidid group and the Abunayyan Holding . At the end of 2014, ACWA Power took over the insolvent German solar mirror manufacturer Flabeg .
The company develops power plants for conventional and renewable energies , as well as seawater desalination plants . The total capacity of the projects is 22.8 GW. It also owns a major stake in the Jordanian Central Electricity Generation Company (CEGCO).
