The building at Adalbertstrasse 49 in the Maxvorstadt district of the Bavarian capital of Munich is a protected monument .

The five-story tenement house in Adalbertstrasse was built in 1900/01 for the building contractor Johann Widmann, who owned numerous pieces of land in Maxvorstadt and at the same time built house number 51. The houses no. 49 and no. 51 have the same facade structure and interior layout. The house entrance of the five-axis building in the neo-renaissance style is in the middle. A half-spiral platform staircase gives access to two apartments on each floor.
