Adangbe (also: Adangme, Dangbe, Adantonwi, Agotime and Adan) is a West African language.
Its focus is in the southeast of Ghana between the city of Ho and the border with Togo , in particular around the cities of Kpoeta and Apegame . Adangbe is also spoken in neighboring parts of Togo.
The language has similarities to Igo . With a total of around 2000 speakers, Adangbe is a rather insignificant local language. The number of speakers is continuously decreasing.
