Ho is a city in Ghana with 104,532 inhabitants and the capital of the Volta Region . Ewe is mainly spoken there.
Ho arose from the connection between the two cities of Banakoe and Hegbe . It was part of the German colony of Togoland until it was occupied by Great Britain in World War I. Then it became the capital of British Togoland , until it was united with the Gold Coast and Ghana emerged from it.
