Adelheid von Dohna

Adelheid von Dohna († 1342 ) came from the noble family von Schönburg-Glauchau . She was the wife of Otto Heyde I, Burgrave of Dohna .

biography

Countess Adelheid von Dohna died in 1342 and was buried in Meissen Cathedral . In 1593, her grave slab was located in the fourth yoke of the south aisle, which is a graphic representation. In 1919 the monument was found in the west wing of the cloister. The whereabouts are unclear today.

On her grave slab there was an incised drawing depicting a woman praying surrounded by inscription.
