Adelheid von Murkart
Adelheid von Murkart (also: Murghart ) was abbess in the Fraumünster in Zurich from 1222 to 1224 and thus the second Thurgau woman to head the Benedictine monastery after Gisela von Spiegelberg .
It came from a baron family who probably resided in Murkart Castle until the first half of the 13th century, after which or at the end of the 12th century the barons of Regensberg inherited it.
