The so-called Adelshof is located in Langelsheim am Harz in the Goslar district in Lower Saxony . The property, which consists of two buildings, not far from the Church of St. Andrew and the former so-called Great Court of the Astfeld Manor, is also known as the Sattelhof or Forestry Office.

The building, actually referred to as the Adelshof, is an almost tower-like solid sandstone building with three floors and an approximately square floor plan in the late Gothic style. Next to it is the second impressive, also three-story building. It is made of solid sandstone on the ground floor and half-timbered on the upper floors. The year of construction is 1552. It served as the seat of the bailiff of the Duchy of Braunschweig until 1832 and then as the seat of the chief forester until 1977.

Both buildings are now privately owned.
