The Adler & Co. Privatbank AG was a Swiss private bank based in Zurich .

The Bank was founded in 1923 by banker Albert Adler in Zurich focused since its inception on the investment and asset management and was on the Private Banking specializes with wealthy private clients.

In the course of the generation change, the Swiss Bank Corporation acquired a majority stake in 1976 , 70% of which was sold to the Lucerne Cantonal Bank when it merged with the Swiss Bank Corporation in 1998 . From 2001, Adler & Co. Privatbank AG was a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Lucerne Cantonal Bank. In 2006, Adler & Co. Privatbank AG took over the Basel branch office and team from swissfirst Bank AG and was thus also present in Basel .

In October 2010, Adler & Co. Privatbank AG , which had around 55 employees at the end of 2009, had total assets of almost CHF 400 million and managed customer assets of around CHF 4 billion, was integrated into the Luzerner Kantonalbank.
