Adnan at-Talyani

Adnan Chamis at-Talyani ( Arabic عدنان خميس الطلياني, DMG ʿAdnān Ḫamīs aṭ-Ṭalyānī , based on the English transcription Adnan Khamees Al-Talyani ; Born October 30, 1964 ) is a former soccer player from the United Arab Emirates .

Career

at-Talyani began his club career in 1980 at the asch-Schaʿab Club in the UAE League , for which he played until 1999.

at-Talyani played a total of 164 international matches for the national soccer team of the United Arab Emirates between 1984 and 1997 , in which he was able to score 53 goals. He played his first international game on March 10, 1984 in a 2-0 win in the Golf Cup against the Kuwaiti national football team , in which he scored a goal.

In 1990 he took part in the World Cup in Italy with the United Arab Emirates , but retired with his team after three defeats in the preliminary round. He played his last international match at the 1997 Confederations Cup against the Czech Republic. He officially ended his career in 2003 when he played with a world selection against the Italian champions Juventus Turin .
