Adolf Fritz

Adolf Fritz (born March 10, 1929 in Klagenfurt ) is an Austrian paleobotanist and teacher.

In 1954 Fritz started working as a middle school teacher in Klagenfurt. Fritz was in 1968 at the University of Graz Dr. phil. doctorate and habilitation in 1971 in palaeobotany . In 1982 he was appointed associate professor.

As a paleobotanist, Fritz works primarily in the field of pollen analysis .
