Adolphe de Graslin

Adolphe Hercule de Graslin (born April 11, 1802 at Malitourne Castle , Flée (Sarthe) ; † May 31, 1882 ibid) was a French entomologist . He mainly collected butterflies .

Graslin came from a noble family based in Malitourne Castle. He was a founding member of the Société Entomologique de France . Among other things, he published a monograph on European caterpillars.

His collection later became part of the collection of Charles Oberthür .
