Adrian Baciu (born January 27, 1978 in Arad , † September 15, 2015 ibid) was a Romanian football player .

Career

Baciu played several seasons for UTA Arad in the second-rate Divizia B after he had become Romanian national champion and junior national player in 1996 in the youth of the club. He also played for FC Arad in the third highest division, as well as for West Petrom Pecica , Frontiera Curtici , Voința Macea and Șoimii Lipova in the lower-class Romanian league area. He was also briefly abroad for the German club ASV Durlach and the Swiss club FC Chur .

In September 2015, at the age of 37, Baciu succumbed to his injuries in an occupational accident when he was pinched on a machine and suffered bruises, which resulted in bleeding to death.
