Adrian von der Recke

Adrian von der Recke (* in the 15th century; † in the 16th century) was canon in Münster .

Life

Origin and family

Adrian von der Recke came as the son of Dietrich von der Recke zu Heessen (1416–1467) and his wife Frederun Ketteler zu Assen (1420–1448) of the Westphalian noble family von der Recke . Dietrich's father Goddert married the heir daughter Agnes von Volmestein in 1414 . So the Volmarsteiner Gut came into the possession of the family who expanded from here.

Act

Adrian completed his studies in Bologna and received a cathedral praise in Münster in June 1490 . He was in possession of the Hiddingsel obedience and the Archdeaconate Billerbeck . The sources do not provide any information about his further life.
