Advanced Gravis Computer Technology, Ltd. was a manufacturer of computer peripherals and hardware . The company was in 1982 British Columbia ( Canada established). The best-known products were the Gravis Analog Joystick , which has long been the reference for PC joysticks, the Gravis PC GamePad , which was the most popular PC joypad at the time, and the Gravis Ultrasound sound card , which competed with the Sound Blaster and a held strong popularity in the PC demo scene .

At its prime, the company employed around 300 people. In 1997 it was finally taken over by the Kensington Technology Group .
