Adventurous Youth is a British adventure film from the year 1928 , the action takes place in Mexico. It is a five-roll silent film that was also shown under the title The Englishman .

During the Mexican Revolution in the 1910s, an English miner fought on the side of the revolutionaries to save a village and its church from destruction. Through his financial, but above all heroic personal commitment, he also wins the love of Mary Ferguson.
