Aelia Marciana Euphemia
Aelia Marcia (na) Euphemia was the daughter of the Eastern Roman emperor Markian . Her date of birth is unknown, as is the exact date of her death. What is certain is that she found death after AD 472 .
She was married by her father in 455 to one of his most important military masters, Anthemius . Due to her relationship with the imperial family, Euphemia made her husband an acceptable candidate for Leo I for imperial rule in the western empire. Euphemia followed her husband to Italy . Nothing is known about their further fate.
