AEON was founded in 1965 and initially dealt with the manufacture of molds for the production of plastic parts for the motorcycle industry . The business volume soon increased and AEON decided to manufacture its own scooters in different designs and performance classes. AEON was active in the scooter market as long as sales increased in various markets around the world.

When the industry went through a crisis, the ATV / Quads were vehicles that expanded and gained market share. While scooter production steadily declined, the new ATV / Quad models quickly established themselves in the US and European markets.

Today over 60,000 ATV / Quads are produced each year, which are exported to many countries. The USA and Europe remain the most important markets.

The company is a major supplier to Polaris in the 50 / 100cc quad class.
