research

Aeroecology was presented as a new scientific discipline at a meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) in Washington in 2011. The airspace is explored with infrared cameras, laser measurement technology - and above all with radar technology and complex image processing software. The German ecologist August Thienemann (1882–1960) named the term as early as 1925 in his book The Inner Waters of Central Europe: a limnological introduction .
