AeroMobile Communications
AeroMobile Communications Limited is a cellular network operator for the aviation industry based in the United Kingdom . It provides technology and services that enable passengers to safely use their mobile phones while in flight. The services of a subsidiary of Panasonic Avionics Corporation are often installed with Panasonic's WiFi network and can either be installed at aircraft manufacturing or retrofitted on Airbus and Boeing aircraft. Panasonic Avionic's WiFi network and AeroMobile's cellular network are free services and offer passengers a choice of connection options for the flight.
Since the start of the service in March 2008, over 40 million passengers have connected to the network and AeroMobile now has over 20 airline partners who offer passengers voice, SMS and data services. Airline partners include Emirates , Etihad , KLM , Lufthansa , SAS , Virgin Atlantic , Singapore Airlines , Cathay Pacific and Turkish Airlines .
