The Aerovolga LA-8 is an amphibious aircraft produced by the Russian manufacturer Aerovolga .

history

The aerovolga la-8 is an amphibious plane that for about 1 million USD is offered. It was developed from 2003 and presented to the public in 2005 at the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS . In addition to the passenger version, versions for patient transport, surveillance and general transport tasks are to be developed. The LA-8 is a cantilever high- wing aircraft with a T-tail and retractable landing gear. The hull is made of composite materials and is painted with a saltwater-resistant paint, depending on the intended use. Two B4B5 (Russian license production of the Lycoming O-540 ) or LOM Praha M-337C are used in the wings as drives.
