Aerobus ( Russian Аэробус ) was a band that was founded in 1982 in the Soviet Union by Yuri Antonov as an accompanying group for his performances.

history

Antonov enjoyed greater popularity in the Soviet Union, which, in contrast to the Soviet rock musicians , gave him the opportunity to officially appear in the early 1980s, including on Soviet television , and to publish records . The artistic head of the ensemble was the former bassist of the group Kobsa Vadim Laschtschuk. The members of the band changed frequently, including musicians like Yevgeni Margulis , who were officially banned from performing in the Soviet Union. Antonov was able to record the album Поверь в мечту (German: "Believe in the dream") in 1984 and the album Долгожданный самолёт (German: "Long-awaited aircraft") in 1985 .

In 1986 the former bassist of the group Sinei ptizy , Igor Schablonski , took over the musical direction of the group and transformed it almost completely. From then on Antonov performed with an accompanying band under his name.
