The monkey forest of Ubud ( Indonesian Padangtegal Mandala Wisata Wanara Wana ) is a small nature park with the Hindu temple Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal in Ubud on Bali .

The park is approximately a tenth of a square kilometer and is home to about 115 species of trees and is populated by crab monkeys ( Macaca fascicularis ) and visited by about 10,000 tourists every month. In the forest there is a holy spring and other temples where, for example, the deceased are ceremonially cremated .
