The Afghanistan Badminton Federation is the highest national administrative organization in the sport of badminton in Afghanistan .
history
The association was founded in 1974 under the banner of the Afghanistan National Olympic Committee. In 1986 it was officially founded as an independent association. The association's activities were stopped by the war in Afghanistan. In 2002 the association was brought back to life. The association is a member of the Badminton World Federation , the Badminton Asia Confederation and the Afghanistan National Olympic Committee .
