African Beach Games
The African Beach Games ( ABG ) are an African multi- sport event that will be held for the first time in 2019 on beach sand and the surrounding sea . The games are organized under the umbrella of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA). The event was announced for the first time in May 2015.
All participating countries must be from Africa . The first award of the sports games to Cape Verde was announced in May 2017.
