Africanus Fabius Maximus was a Roman politician and senator of the Augustan era.

Africanus came from the patrician family of the Fabians and was the son of Quintus Fabius Maximus , the suffect consul in 45 BC. Chr. Africanus' older brother Paullus Fabius Maximus , consul 11 ​​BC.
