Africanus Fabius Maximus
Africanus Fabius Maximus was a Roman politician and senator of the Augustan era.
Africanus came from the patrician family of the Fabians and was the son of Quintus Fabius Maximus , the suffect consul in 45 BC. Chr. Africanus' older brother Paullus Fabius Maximus , consul 11 BC. Chr., Was married to a cousin of the emperor Augustus - thus Africanus also belonged to the imperial family. Africanus clothed in 10 BC Together with Iullus Antonius , son of Marcus Antonius , the ordinary consulate. Between 9 BC BC and AD 4 (probably around 6/5 BC) he was proconsul of the province of Africa . Africanus was also Septemvir epulonum .
