Agadão

Agadão is a village and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Águeda .

In green a silver circle with three blue waves above which a golden two-handled jug with a lid hovers. A three-tower wall crown rests on the shield . In the white band at the base of the shield the place name in black letters “AGADÃO”.

Attractions

The town's monuments include the primary school building, the Fonte e lavadouro público do Caselho fountain and washing area , the Moinho da Foz water mill (also Moinho de Rodízio ), and a number of sacred buildings , including the single-aisled parish church Igreja Paroquial de Agadão , named after its patron saint also Igreja de Santa Maria Madalena (German: Church of St. Mary Magdalene).
