Agence nationale de la sécurité des systèmes d'information

The Agence nationale de la sécurité des systèmes d'information ( ANSSI ; German  National Agency for the Security of Information Systems ) is a French authority that is responsible for information security. It is affiliated to the Secrétariat général de la défense et de la sécurité nationale (SGDSN), which reports directly to the French Prime Minister, and has around 250 employees.

history

The ANSSI was founded by décret n ° 2009-834 on July 7, 2009 and emerged from the Direction centrale de la sécurité des systèmes d'information (DCSSI) founded in 2001, the successor to the Service central de la sécurité des systèmes founded in 1986 d'information (SCSSI).

organization

The ANSSI consists of four departments:

  • The Center opérationnel de la sécurité des systèmes d'information (COSSI)
  • The Sous-direction Expertise (SDE)
  • The Sous-direction Systèmes d'information sécurisés (SIS)
  • The Sous-direction Relations extérieures et coordination (RELEC).
