It is a single-nave church. Originally it only consisted of a cross-shaped building. The porch was built in 1758. The masonry consists of rough field stones, the roof is covered with stone slabs. On the southern part, a low door leads to a small balcony, which is surrounded by an iron railing.

Most of the original part has been preserved in its original state. The walls and the dome are completely painted, mostly with biblical motifs and geometric patterns. The missing upper layer of plaster in some places reveals the frescoes below . The older painting dates from the 16th century. The frescoes above, probably painted by Macedonian artists, are dated around 1761. An inscription, hidden under a layer of mortar, indicates August 23, 1761 as the date when the work was completed. The wooden iconostasis is decorated with carvings in places, some of it is painted. In the dome, Christ is depicted surrounded by his disciples.

The extension is now designed in a modern way. The floor is covered with stone slabs, which are framed by terracotta tiles. There are benches on the east and west walls; the walls are plastered, painted white, and decorated with icons. The room is lit by oil lamps and candles if necessary.
