Agnora Island is an island in the South Georgia archipelago in the South Atlantic . It is the easternmost in the Jomfruene group .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2009. It is named after Kamilla Agnora Widmark (née Larsen, 1887–1992), one of the daughters of the Norwegian whaling entrepreneur Carl Anton Larsen , who was influential in South Georgia .
