Buivydiškės Agricultural Technical Center
The agricultural technical Buivydiškės was a pilot in Soviet Lithuania and then a high school for agricultural sciences and agriculture in the village Buivydiškės (now in the district Zujūnai the Vilnius District Municipality , northwest of the Lithuanian capital Vilnius ).
history
In 1953 the sovkhoz was established in the former Buivydiškės manor . In 1961 the Buivydiškės Agricultural Technical Center ( Buivydiškių žemės ūkio technikumas ) was built. From 1990 to 2001 there was the Buivydiškės Higher Agricultural School ( Buivydiškių aukštesnioji žemės ūkio mokykla ). In 2001 the legal independence of the school was dissolved and the Agricultural Study Center Buivydiškės ( Buivydiškių žemės ūkio studijų centras ) was founded by the Vilnius College . It became the faculty ( Agrotechnologijų fakultetas ) of this university.
