Agustín Undurraga

Agustín Undurraga Undurraga (* 1875 ; † 1950 ) was a Chilean painter.

Undurraga studied at the Escuela de Bellas Artes with José Mercedes Ortega and Pedro Lira . With a grant from the Chilean government, he traveled to Europe in 1906 to perfect his education. On his return he became a professor at the Escuela de Bellas Artes . He was honored several times for his works with honorable mentions (1891, 1892, 1894, 1895), a third (1897) and a second prize (1900) and the prize of the painting section (1905) at the Salón Oficial in Santiago. The painting El Taller de Enrique Lynch (1924) is owned by the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes .
