Ah Chong Island is an uninhabited island in the Australian state of Western Australia . The island is part of the Montebello Islands , a group of islands in the Indian Ocean off the north-west coast of Australia.

Ah Chong Island is about 74 kilometers from mainland Australia. The island is 920 meters long, a maximum of 540 meters wide and has an area of ​​22.0 hectares. The island's vegetation is tropical and the coastline consists mainly of sandy beaches. The closest islands are the very small Clematis Island just 70 meters from the northern tip, Coolibah Island 160 meters southwest, and Grevillea Island 210 meters northwest.
