Ahmed Ali Salman

Ahmed Ali Salman (born September 29, 1913 ) was a Pakistani diplomat .

Life

Ahmed Ali Salman received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Lucknow in 1934 . On November 1, 1941, he entered the service of the Ministry of Information in British India and bachelor became the modern history of the University of Oxford honorary. In 1947, after the founding of Pakistan, he was employed in the Ministry of Commerce and then in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting .

In 1948 he became press attaché in the Pakistani High Commission in London . In 1953 he joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan , which employed him in Canada , the Netherlands and Turkey . From 1958 to 1961 he was a delegation counselor in Moscow , where he was temporarily chargé d' affaires. From 1961 to 1963 he served on the Legation Council in Washington, DC From 1963 to September 1965 he was employed in the State Department and was accepted into the Order of Hilal-e-Quaid-i-Azam for his devoted service in the Second Indo-Pakistani War . From September 1965 to November 14, 1969 he was ambassador to Moscow. From November 14, 1969 to 1972, he was High Commissioner in London. From 1973 to 1974 he also headed the Pakistani diplomatic mission in London. Since Pakistan was not a member of the Commonwealth of Nations at this time , he was Ambassador to the Court of St James’s .
