Harry Reicher

Harry Reicher (* 1948 in Prague , Czechoslovakia ; † October 27, 2014 ) was an Australian - American law scholar , university professor , author and President of the Agudath Israel World Organization .

Reicher came to Australia in the 1950s and was later a graduate of Monash University , in Melbourne . From 1995 to 2004 he was Director of International Affairs and Representative of the Agudath Israel World Organization at the United Nations . He was active in reparation for Holocaust damage. In 2004, US President George W. Bush appointed him a member of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council . He is the author of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law and publisher of Australian International Law: Cases and Materials . He is also the author of the book Holocaust Law: Materials and Commentary .

Reicher last lived in Brooklyn , New York .
