Ahmet Güneştekin (born December 22, 1966 in Batman Province ) is a Turkish artist of Kurdish origin and a member of the International Association of the Plastic Arts and director .

biography

He discovered his passion for painting at the age of five and painted his first oil painting at the age of nine. He opened his first own picture exhibition at the age of 16.

Güneştekin was active in over 80 art projects, his works attracted national and international attention. In 2003 he organized his first professional exhibition at Ataturk Kültür Merkezi (AKM), which was named "Karanlıktan Sonraki Renkler" (Colors after Darkness). Today he continues his artistic work in Beyoğlu .

He directed the documentary series “ Haberci Türkiye Renkleri ” (Ambassador of the Colors of Turkey ) and “ Güneşin İzinde ” (In the Footsteps of the Sun), both of which were broadcast on the Turkish state broadcaster TRT International .

Ahmet Güneştekin is a member of the UNESCO International Association of the Plastic Arts (UNESCO Uluslararası Plastik Sanatçılar Derneği).
