Ahmet Yalçınkaya

Ahmet Yalçınkaya (* 1963 in Giresun ) is a Turkish contemporary poet.

Life

Yalçinkaya graduated from secondary school in Germany and completed his university entrance qualification in Istanbul (1981). There he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bogazici University (1987), Master of Science in Robotics from Istanbul Technical University (1991) and an Associate Degree in Management from Anadolu University (2000).

He then taught mathematics at the Namangan Institute of Engineering and Education in Uzbekistan . Currently (2007) he works as a technical manager.

Publications

His poems, essays, letters, interviews, poetry translations and other translations are available through newspapers and magazines such as Zaman, Al-Ahram Weekly, Vahdet, Vahdet, Tanitim, Dnevni Avaz , Harman, Das Licht, Kardelen, Mavera, Yosh Kuch, Pop Tongi, Kiragi, Endulus and others have been published in Turkey, Germany, England, Egypt and Uzbekistan.

Ahmet Yalçınkaya was awarded several prizes. At times he worked for Kiragi Poesie, a magazine in Istanbul (1995–97) and in the editorial department of the literary magazine Endulus (1997–98).

  • Role of Culture in Total Quality Management (The role of culture in total quality management, in English, dissertation, 1999).
