Aiantides (poet)
Aiantides (Αίαντίδης) was a Greek tragedian of Hellenism at the time of Ptolemy II . He belonged in the canon of tragedy poets, which was set up by the Alexandrian scholar Aristophanes of Byzantium and Aristarchy , to the seven poets of the second rank, the " tragic pleiad ", but is replaced in some lists by Sosiphanes . Nothing of his works has survived.
