The Aimpoint CompM2 is a reflex sight without zoom from the Swedish manufacturer Aimpoint AB .

It is standard in the US Army . It is referred to there as M68 Close Combat Optic (M68 CCO; NSN : 1240-01-411-1265) or also as M68 Aimpoint. It was specially designed for the M16 / M4 family, but can also be used for other rifles with the Picatinny rail . The aiming point is also compatible with night vision devices , telescopic sights and goggles .

Overview

The visor is waterproof to a depth of 25 meters and runs on a 3 volt lithium battery of the type 2L76 or DL1 / 3N. The brightness of the point is adjustable for better visibility or longer battery life.

The M68 is parallax-free at a distance of approx. 50 meters . This means that the red point always points to the target regardless of the position of the eye. The closer the goal is, the more the red dot deviates from the actual goal.
