Ainetos (Olympian)
Ainetos ( ancient Greek Αἴνητος ) was an Olympian of the Ancient Olympic Games from Lacedaemon .
Pausanias reports that Ainetos was the winner in the Pentathlon discipline . After his victory, he fell dead during the wreath , which is why a statue was erected in Amyclai in his honor .
